Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Glen Lea Homestead in Mount Barker provided the perfect backdrop for Kaitlyn and Jack’s wedding. The day began with the bridal party getting ready at the homestead, while the groom and his mates prepared nearby. The soft, overcast sky bathed everything in gentle, diffused light, perfect for capturing every detail and emotion.

The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, set against the lush surroundings of Glen Lea Homestead. After the ceremony, we had fun with just the bridal party, Kaitlyn poured drinks for everyone from the back of their car, and started handing out red tins to the bridal party.

Lauren from Venyu was the on the day co-ordinator and she kindly gave us a lift in her 4×4, so we could go up the hill for sunset photos.

After sunset, we moved into the reception, which was held in a charming old barn that exuded rustic elegance. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the excitement continued as Tania from Choonz & Moovz took the DJ booth. The dance floor came alive with energy. Tania & I even joined in, showing off some impressive moves and adding to the fun.

Kaitlyn had organised for a broccoli to be decorated so she can throw it, instead of throwing her bouquet. That was certainly one of the coolest things I have had pleasure to witness haha.

An absolutely beautiful Glen Lea Homestead wedding..
