Planning a wedding is already full-on, so I wanted to make at least one part of it easy for you. This page is basically your little hub for stress-free wedding planning — simple tips, helpful tools, and stuff that actually makes your day run smoother.
Alright, this thing is the BEST!
Not all wedding photographers help out with timeline planning. However at LHG Media we are more than happy to. This little calculator works for 99% of wedding days. We will still manually check everything and make sure we are covering your day in the best way possible. However this is a good base, to let you guys know roughly when we want to do getting ready photos and sunset photos. All based off of what time you guys have booked your ceremony for.
If you’re not sure how long photos take, or when we will be taking sunset photos… the timeline calculator sorts all of that out for you.
Just punch in a few details and it gives you a clean, realistic timeline for your whole day.
It’ll help you figure out:
Getting ready times for photos
What time your hair and make up should finish
General wedding day order of events
Best time for sunset photos
Because it keeps the day chill. Even though we have a timeline there is still room for it to be fluid. Especially after the ceremony and family photos.
When things are planned out properly, you’re not rushing, vendors know what’s happening, and you get way more time to enjoy the fun parts. Depending on how everything is going on the day you can still push things back or move them forward too.
I’ve shot more than 200 weddings ton of weddings, and the smoothest days always have one thing in common: a solid timeline.
These things take a bit of organising, but we’re totally happy to sort it out with you. The smoother your day runs, the more fun you’re having… The better photos and videos you get.
This timeline is just the starting point. Your day might look a little different depending on what you’ve got planned. Maybe your ceremony and reception are in different spots, maybe you want to sneak off somewhere different for sunset photos.
